I read this trick in an old object lession book from the 70's. Pretty sure that someone has published it more recenly then that but it is a great object lession of Daniel 3. In most of them I did a short object lession out of Daniel 3 (I had a cool picture of the object lesson but lost it) and then was able to show Camp Pictures and talk alittle about the summer. The cool part is that 3-4 of them were in the public schools! It was neat to talk about the bible in the school library. I will be doing 7-10 schools and AWANAs in the local area in a few weeks. Exciting stuff. Tomarrow night I am teaching a lesson on David and Goliath for around 10 disabled kids at Kids Night out. Should be fun. We had not had the 6 of them home more then 20 when the little chick (that is less then a week old) deciedes that she likes the view from the top of the bucket better then the bottom. But, as you can see from the picture, geting to the top of the bucket is no simple feat! Once she was up she did not try to go anywhere, so we just left her there for a while. It was a snow camp for High School kids from the area. We only had 16 but that was an improvment from what it has been in recent years. There was such a good response from the local youth leaders that we scheduled a jr high weekend the 10-12 of march. We keep hearing that this should be better (as far as numbers) then the high school.
We had a great time during the last retreat. Satuday we had outdoor "snow" games and then night skiing until 9pm and finished off the evening by watched the Incredibles. I was able to get some leading questions from Christianity Today's website. You should check them out. It turned out to be an GREAT way to get the kids to think about what they just watched. We also had a youth paster from Whitefish First Baptist speak 3 times over the course of the weekend. He was great. The energy and passion that he brought to the kids about God's word was outstanding!
PRAY FOR THE JR. HIGH KIDS THAT WILL ATTEND THIS
WEEKEND. WE WANT TO BE BOTH AN ENCOURAGMENT
AND A CHALLANGE TO THEM!

Have any suggestions on main stream movies that have good morals and are clean? We got to see my mom along with Aunts and Uncles. Carly and I did decide however, that deer should not be able to come out at night. People say that the government should take care of our needs (welfare ect). I need the deer not to come out at night. They are a danger to my and my wife's health and well being. They are a detriment to all who drive on the public roadways of northwest Montana. They serve no good purpose at night. And just think of all the jobs that could be created, here and all over this great government run country, if we the people decided to make the deer stay in at night!
